Privacy Policy — DocuKin: Family Document Vault

DocuKin: Family Document Vault ("DocuKin", "we", "our", or "us") is a mobile application developed by Crazyvia Studios.

DocuKin is designed to help you organize and manage important documents for yourself and your family in a private document vault.

This Privacy Policy explains what information DocuKin handles, how it is used, and how information may be handled by third-party services used by the application.

By using DocuKin, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information You Store in DocuKin

DocuKin allows you to create family member profiles and store documents associated with them.

Depending on how you use the application, you may store:

• Family member names

• Family member profile photos or avatars, if you choose to add them

• Document names

• Document categories

• Document files such as images and PDFs

• Text extracted from documents using OCR

• Other information you choose to enter into the application

Documents may contain sensitive information, including identity information, addresses, financial information, insurance information, certificates, or other information contained in the documents you choose to store.

2. Local Storage

DocuKin is designed as a local-first application.

Your documents are stored in the application's private storage on your device and are not uploaded to servers operated by Crazyvia Studios as part of the normal operation of the local vault.

Documents stored by DocuKin are protected using encryption and platform security mechanisms.

We do not intentionally send your document files or their contents to advertising or analytics services.

3. Encryption and Security

DocuKin uses encryption to help protect documents stored in the application.

Sensitive cryptographic material may be protected using platform secure-storage mechanisms where appropriate.

DocuKin may also provide App Lock using authentication mechanisms available on your device, such as biometric authentication or device authentication.

No software or security system can guarantee absolute protection against every possible threat. Security may be affected by circumstances such as malware, compromised devices, rooted or jailbroken devices, weak device credentials, or unauthorized access to your device.

4. OCR and Search

DocuKin may use OCR to recognize text from documents and make those documents easier to search.

OCR processing is designed to occur on the device rather than by sending documents to our servers.

OCR text may contain sensitive information. DocuKin does not intentionally send document OCR contents to advertising or analytics services.

5. Advertising

The free version of DocuKin may display advertisements provided through Google AdMob.

Depending on the configuration of the Google Mobile Ads SDK and applicable privacy settings, AdMob may process information such as:

• IP address

• Device or advertising identifiers

• Device information

• Advertising information

• App interactions

• Diagnostic and performance information

• Information used to estimate general location

This information may be used for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and related purposes.

DocuKin does not intentionally provide the contents of your stored documents or OCR text to advertisers.

Where required by applicable law or platform requirements, DocuKin may provide appropriate consent and privacy choices for advertising.

6. Firebase Analytics

DocuKin may use Firebase Analytics to understand how people use the application and to improve functionality, usability, stability, and performance.

Depending on our configuration, Firebase Analytics may process information such as:

• App interactions and events

• App version

• Device and operating-system information

• App-instance or installation information

• General usage information

• Technical information used to maintain and improve the application

DocuKin does not intentionally send document files, document contents, or OCR text to Firebase Analytics.

7. In-App Purchases and RevenueCat

DocuKin may offer paid features through in-app purchases.

Purchases are processed through the applicable platform, including:

• Apple App Store

• Google Play

DocuKin uses RevenueCat to help manage purchase information and Pro entitlements.

RevenueCat may process information such as purchase history, transaction information, app/device technical information, and information necessary to determine whether a user has an active purchase entitlement.

We do not receive or store your full payment-card information through DocuKin. Payment processing is handled by Apple or Google.

8. Support

If you contact us for support, we may receive information that you voluntarily provide, including:

• Email address

• Device model

• Operating system version

• DocuKin app version

• Description of your problem

• Screenshots or screen recordings

• Other information you choose to include

Please do not send passports, government IDs, financial documents, passwords, encryption keys, or other sensitive documents through ordinary email unless we specifically provide a secure method for doing so.

Support information is used to respond to your request, investigate problems, and improve DocuKin.

9. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

DocuKin is not designed to collect or upload the contents of your local document vault to Crazyvia Studios servers during normal use.

We do not intentionally send:

• Stored document files to Firebase Analytics

• Stored document files to AdMob

• OCR document contents to Firebase Analytics

• OCR document contents to AdMob

• Document contents to RevenueCat

Third-party SDKs may nevertheless collect technical, advertising, analytics, or purchase-related information as described in this Privacy Policy.

10. Third-Party Services

DocuKin currently uses or may use the following third-party services:

Google AdMob
Used to provide advertisements in the free version.

Firebase Analytics
Used to understand application usage and improve the product.

RevenueCat
Used to manage in-app purchase entitlements and purchase-related information.

Apple App Store / Google Play
Used to process in-app purchases and distribute the application.

These providers operate independently and may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

Local application data

Documents and information stored locally remain on your device until you delete them, clear application data, uninstall DocuKin, or otherwise remove them.

Because DocuKin does not require an online DocuKin account, Crazyvia Studios does not maintain a central online copy of your local document vault.

Analytics and advertising information

Information collected by third-party analytics and advertising services may be retained according to the applicable provider's policies and the configuration used in the application.

Purchase information

Purchase-related information may be retained by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other applicable providers as necessary to process and maintain purchase records and entitlements.

12. Children's Privacy

DocuKin is intended for adults and is not directed toward children.

Children may be represented as family members because an adult user may manage documents belonging to them.

DocuKin is not designed to knowingly collect information directly from children as users of the application.

13. International Users

DocuKin may be used by people around the world.

Third-party services used by DocuKin may process information in countries other than your own.

Where applicable, information may be processed in accordance with the privacy laws and requirements that apply to those services and your use of the application.

14. Your Choices

You can:

• Add or delete documents

• Add, edit, or remove family members

• Enable or disable App Lock

• Stop using the application at any time

• Manage applicable advertising/privacy choices when presented

• Contact us with privacy questions or concerns

Because DocuKin does not require a user account, there is no traditional account-password reset or account-deletion process.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the application, third-party services, or applicable requirements change.

When appropriate, we may provide notice through the application or other reasonable means.

The updated version will include a new effective date.
