Terms & Conditions — DocuKin: Family Document Vault

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of DocuKin: Family Document Vault ("DocuKin", "the App", "we", "our", or "us"), developed by Crazyvia Studios.

By installing or using DocuKin, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the application.

1. About DocuKin

DocuKin is a personal and family document-management application that helps users organize important documents in a private vault.

The application may allow you to:

  • Create family member profiles

  • Add and organize documents

  • Scan documents

  • Import images and PDFs

  • Search documents

  • Use on-device OCR

  • View documents

  • Share documents

  • Protect the application with App Lock

  • Purchase DocuKin Pro

2. No Account Required

DocuKin does not require you to create an online account to use its core functionality.

Your local document vault is stored on your device.

Because there is no traditional DocuKin online account, DocuKin does not provide a standard server-side password-reset or account-recovery system.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and protecting your device credentials.

3. Your Documents

You retain ownership of the documents and other content you store in DocuKin.

You are responsible for:

  • Having the legal right to store documents

  • Having permission to manage documents belonging to other people

  • Using the application lawfully

  • Keeping your device secure

  • Maintaining copies of important documents where appropriate

You must not use DocuKin to store or distribute unlawful content or to facilitate fraud, identity theft, or other unlawful activity.

4. Privacy and Security

DocuKin uses encryption and platform security mechanisms to help protect locally stored documents.

However, no application can guarantee complete security.

DocuKin cannot guarantee protection against:

  • Malware

  • Compromised devices

  • Rooted or jailbroken devices

  • Unauthorized physical access

  • Compromised device credentials

  • Operating-system vulnerabilities

  • User mistakes

  • Third-party applications

  • Hardware failures

5. Document Sharing

DocuKin may allow documents to be shared using the native sharing functionality provided by your device.

Once you intentionally share a document with another application or person, the receiving application or recipient may retain its own copy.

DocuKin cannot control what another application or recipient does with a document after it has been shared.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to share a document.

6. Free Version

DocuKin may provide a free version supported by advertisements.

Advertising may be provided through third-party services including Google AdMob.

Features and advertising behavior may change as the application is updated, subject to applicable laws and platform requirements.

7. DocuKin Pro

DocuKin may offer a paid Pro version.

The Pro version is intended to provide an ad-free experience and may include additional Pro functionality introduced by us in future versions.

The features included with Pro will be described in the application and applicable store listing at the time of purchase.

8. In-App Purchases

DocuKin Pro may be purchased through:

  • Apple App Store

  • Google Play

Purchases are processed by the applicable app store.

RevenueCat may be used by DocuKin to manage purchase entitlements.

Prices are displayed through the applicable store before purchase.

Your purchase is also subject to the terms and policies of the applicable app store.

9. Refunds

Refunds are generally handled according to the refund policies and procedures of the applicable app store.

Apple or Google controls payment processing and store refunds.

For purchase-related issues, you may contact the applicable store and/or DocuKin support.

10. Third-Party Services

DocuKin may use third-party services including:

  • Google AdMob

  • Firebase Analytics

  • RevenueCat

  • Apple App Store

  • Google Play

These services are operated independently from Crazyvia Studios and may have their own terms, policies, and privacy practices.

DocuKin is not responsible for the operation, availability, or policies of third-party services.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use DocuKin for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to bypass application security

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another person's documents

  • Reverse engineer or modify the application except where permitted by applicable law

  • Interfere with application operation

  • Abuse or misuse third-party services

  • Use DocuKin to facilitate fraud or identity theft

12. Intellectual Property

DocuKin, including its software, design, branding, user interface, graphics, and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to Crazyvia Studios and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of DocuKin or its intellectual property to you.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the application for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.

13. Updates and Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of DocuKin.

Updates may be released to:

  • Fix bugs

  • Improve security

  • Improve performance

  • Add features

  • Remove features

  • Maintain compatibility with Android and iOS

  • Maintain compatibility with third-party services

Some functionality may stop working if required updates are not installed or if third-party platforms change their systems.

14. Data Loss

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate copies of important documents.

Although DocuKin uses encryption and security mechanisms, we cannot guarantee that documents will never be lost, corrupted, or become inaccessible.

Potential causes include:

  • Device failure

  • Accidental deletion

  • Application errors

  • Operating-system problems

  • Insufficient device storage

  • Hardware failure

  • User actions

  • Unexpected software issues

15. No Professional Advice

DocuKin is a document-management application.

It does not provide legal, financial, medical, insurance, government, tax, or other professional advice.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DocuKin is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The application will always be available

  • The application will always be error-free

  • The application will work identically on every device

  • Documents will never be lost

  • Third-party services will always work

  • Every feature will meet every user's requirements

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Crazyvia Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from the use of DocuKin.

This may include losses related to document loss, inability to access documents, device failure, third-party service failures, or unauthorized access resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the application or other reasonable means.

Continued use of DocuKin after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

19. Termination

You may stop using DocuKin at any time by uninstalling the application or removing it from your device.

We may restrict or discontinue functionality where reasonably necessary to:

  • Protect application security

  • Prevent abuse

  • Comply with law

  • Maintain the application

  • Respond to changes in third-party services

20. Governing Law

Any specific governing-law and jurisdiction provisions applicable to Crazyvia Studios may be added or updated here before publication.
